About Staci Coberly, RDH, Dental Hygienist and Founder

Staci is a farm-and-ranch girl from western Kansas. Her family works in health care, and she's known since early adulthood that she wanted to be involved in health care in some facet. She has been in dentistry for more than two decades and holds an active Colorado dental hygienist license, DH.000904674, issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
She moved to Salida from Belize, where she was in private practice and volunteered in public health. She spent four years volunteering in Honduras as well. Those years shaped how she thinks about access. Traveling through rural Central America, and then through the rural mountain West, she kept seeing the same thing: people who wanted care and could not easily reach it.
Her service abroad also gave her a clear view of how fortunate we are with the care available in this country, even in places where it takes some effort to get to.
Colorado and these mountains have always been home, even during the years she lived elsewhere. Staci hikes, rides horses, and spends as much time on the river as she can.
Our Salida Dental Hygiene Clinic
The clinic is on 2nd Street in downtown Salida, a block off F Street. It is a storefront space with a mountain and lake sign in the front window, a lot of plants, and afternoon light. We built it to feel like somewhere you would not mind spending an hour, because most people do not walk into a dental office relaxed.
The practice has grown from Staci alone to a team of hygienists. We see patients by appointment, Monday through Friday.

About Our Mobile Dental Hygiene Unit
For patients who cannot easily get to Salida, we bring the clinic to them.
The mobile unit is a 2011 Chevy ambulance that had been refurbished for overlanding. A retiring dentist who shared Staci's idea about rural access sold it to her, and she rebuilt it again, this time as a clinical space.
The clinical area is larger than people expect, with 6 foot ceilings. Staci worked with local contractors to keep the interior warm and open rather than cold and clinical, while fitting in all the dental technology the work requires. Stepping in feels more like stepping into a camper than into an exam room. The branding wrap on the outside was done by Jessie Castanada.
The unit carries the same equipment we use in the office, and it runs a regular schedule to three communities.
